Sundance Festival

Sundance NYD is Waiheke Island’s flagship New Year’s Day festival — a boutique, world-class celebration of electronic music, art, and summer culture. Set among the vines at Batch Winery, it offers an intimate yet elevated experience where the energy of a festival meets the beauty of a vineyard escape.

Each year, guests travel from across New Zealand and around the world to be part of this unique island gathering. From afternoon sunshine to a sunset crescendo and into the night, Sundance blends world-renowned and local DJs, stunning natural surroundings, and high-end production into one seamless, unforgettable start to the year.

Transport packages to Sundance New Year’s day: 

• Early bird : $75 per person - SOLD OUT
• Second release (1 December to 15 December): $79 per person - SOLD OUT
• Final release (from 16 December to 1 January): $89 per person
• On island buses - $26 per person 

Fullers360 ferry and bus packages are limited to this event, so secure yours early.

Package details:

• Ferry - Guests can catch any Fullers360 Waiheke Walk-up ferry from the Downtown Ferry Terminal to Waiheke Island.
• Bus transfers - Buses to Sundance NYD at Batch Winery will depart from Matiatia Ferry Terminal between 2:00pm and 5:40pm, with the last bus meeting the 5:00pm ferry departing Auckland City.
• Buses will stop opposite the BNZ in Oneroa on the way to Sundance NYD at Batch Winery. From 2:00pm onwards, a bus shuttle will also run from Foursquare Onetangi from 2:00pm to Sundance NYD. See map attached to this e-ticket for details on pickups.
• For your return to Auckland, the first bus will depart Batch Winery from 8:30pm through to 10:15pm, to meet the 9:30pm and 11.00pm ferry departures off island.

Seating is limited on the 11:00pm sailing, this being the final departure off island. Please allow plenty of time before departure.
