Effective Monday, 16 February 2026, Fullers360 is making annual pricing changes to our commuter fares for Waiheke Island ferry services. Commuter fares will increase by a range of 3.6% to 3.9%.

Affected products for this price change are fares for frequent ferry users including, Fullers360 Monthly Waiheke Pass, 40-trip, and 10 trip Flexi Passes. All other Fullers360 visitor and tourism product pricing remains unaffected. As Auckland Transport (AT) have published on 1 February 2026, the AT Waiheke Monthly trip price remains unchanged at this time.

There will be no changes to standard Waiheke visitor fares.

The increase aligns with the weighted average increase in fares recently announced by AT across its public transport fares. This is the first change to our commuter fare products since 28 January 2025.

The new fares outlined below will take effect from Monday, 16 February 2026.

New pricing per trip is reflected in the table below, for example a Fullers360 Waiheke Adult Monthly Pass increases by 36c per trip, an Adult 40 trip increases by 60c per trip, and a 10 trip Adult by 70c per trip. For tertiary and child pass tickets, smaller increases are effective, as demonstrated in the table below.

We are always mindful of the impact fare increases may have for our customers and carefully balance this with the cost to operate these ferry services which continue to escalate across our business - wages, maintenance, fuel, labour and other associated costs to operate a ferry fleet.

Fullers360 recognises the lifeline we provide to the region's communities, including Waiheke Island. Our business continues to absorb as much of the rising costs of providing services as possible, to keep fare increases to a minimum and to ensure ferry travel is a viable option both now and in the future. We wish to thank all our regularly travelling customers for their continued support and patronage on the regular commuting and frequent timetables we provide.

Off island resident ticket categories

For our Waiheke off-island travellers, we’re pleased to announce that we’re reducing Adult fares from $35 to $32. This is to make travel as affordable as possible for individuals and families who call Waiheke Island home.  There is also no change to Child and Family off-island fares.

These changes also take place from Monday, 16 February 2026.  It’s our aim to support off-island travel for those who choose this option and to support island communities to stay connected to the wider Auckland community.

The table below demonstrates the off-island pricing change effective, 16 February:
